Heavy Duty Bunk Beds, trading as ESS Universal Pty Ltd, is part of the ESS Global group of companies. We are the exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand, supplying one of the most established heavy duty bunk bed and accessory ranges in the Oceania region.
Our mission is simple. To supply industrial strength bed and bunk bed systems that are strong, safe, insect resistant and built for demanding commercial environments.
Our beds and accessories are designed specifically for safe adult use. They are made for settings where durability, hygiene, strength and long term value matter.

Products That Have Stood the Test of Time
The ESS range was first developed in 2011 after listening closely to the needs of organisations that required a stronger, safer and more practical sleeping solution.
From that need, the ESS Dallas and Missouri bed, bunk bed and accessory range was created. The focus was innovation, not imitation. These products were designed from the ground up for commercial use, with strength, safety, bed bug resistance and long service life at the centre of the range.
We are proud to introduce this proven product range to the Australian market. ESS products are already widely used across North America, the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia.
Unlike domestic beds adapted for occasional use, our beds are engineered for strength, durability and long term performance in real world commercial environments. Since expanding further into Australia and New Zealand in 2024, customers have been able to access a proven commercial grade solution backed by local supply and support.
