Our designers were given details of this universal issue and sent to the design table, idea after idea for fixing bunk bed sheets and bedding the easy way was trashed until our chief designer said
“Instead of going to the mattress, why don’t we bring the mattress to us?”
At that very moment the idea was born, many attempts were made and many adjustments were adopted but the perfect idea meant that by using a kit designed by William Lewis would allow a mattress to be brought out like a drawer from the top bunk bed. This ‘cassette’ was specifically designed for fixing bunk bed sheets and bedding without the hassle on the Dallas bunk bed as well as the Missouri and Iowa bunk bed models but it become evident that the kit would also fit many other bunk bed models not manufactured by ESS Universal.
